Chocolate Torte

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a bowl, stir the egg yolks and sugar until thick.

  3. Grate the almonds without blanching and add them to the mixture.

  4. Mix in the baking powder and then the chocolate.

  5. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites.
