Rhubarb Pie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wipe the rhubarb with a damp cloth, peel it, and cut it into very small pieces.

  2. In a saucepan, combine the rhubarb and sugar without adding water, and stew it slowly until done.

  3. Turn the mixture into a dish and let it cool.

  4. Line a pie plate with the bottom crust, fill it with the rhubarb mixture, and cover with the top crust.

  5. For tarts, place strips of crust across the top instead of using a full upper crust.
