To Set the Color in Stockings
Ingredients
Directions
In a pail of hot water, add 1 teaspoon of ox-gall for the first wash.
For subsequent washes, use 2 teaspoons of powdered borax in the hot water.
Use very little soap.
Do not let the stockings soak in water for long.
Hang the stockings in the shade to dry.
