Roast Larks

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut slices of bread into rounds large enough to hold one lark each.

  2. Butter the bread rounds.

  3. Stand the bread under the larks while cooking to catch the drippings.

  4. Once cooked, remove the larks from the skewers and take off the bacon.

  5. Place each lark on a buttered bread round.

  6. Arrange the larks in a circle on a dish and place a bunch of watercress in the center.
