Mushrooms Au G-ratin

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Trim the large mushrooms and chop 2 or 3 mushrooms, shallot, and parsley.

  3. In a saucepan, combine the chopped ingredients with butter, thyme, salt, and pepper; fry for 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and mix in the egg yolks.

  5. Stuff the mixture into the large mushrooms, sprinkle with bread crumbs.

  6. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
