Onion Sauce

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel the onions and place them in cold water.

  2. When the water boils, pour it off and refill the saucepan with boiling water.

  3. Repeat this process three to four times to remove the strength of the onions.

  4. When the onions are soft, beat them through a sieve.

  5. Add white gravy, cream, or milk thickened with butter and flour.

  6. Warm the mixture together and serve.
