Malaga raisins
Provide sweetness, body and the main fruit flavour of the wine.
Cider
Forms the liquid base and supplies sugars that the wine's flavour and alcohol develop from.
Brandy
Raises the alcohol content, adds warmth and helps preserve the wine.
