Canning Strawberries
Ingredients
Directions
Wash the strawberries and soak them in water to make them juicy.
Boil the strawberries briefly, skimming off any froth.
Cook over moderate heat until thoroughly heated.
Keep the strawberries submerged in the hot liquid.
Transfer the strawberries into pre-warmed glass canning jars.
Remove air bubbles by running a spoon through the berries and remove any froth.
Fill the jars almost to the brim, wipe the tops, and adjust the dry rubbers before sealing with the lids.
