  1. Bake in a slow oven at 300°F (150°C) until deep golden brown.

  2. Remove from the oven just as they begin to set.

  3. Lift off with a knife and quickly roll around a slipper mold, rough side out.

  4. Once set, remove the mold.

  5. Whip the cream, add sugar and vanilla.

  6. Fill some molds with white cream and color the remainder pink.

  7. Serve immediately.
