Banana Fritters

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Cut each banana lengthwise and across to form 4 portions.

  2. Coat the banana pieces completely with the prepared batter.

  3. Fry them in hot fat (400°F / 200°C) until nicely browned.

  4. Drain well and sprinkle with castor sugar before serving.
