Curled Butter

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Tie a strong cloth to an iron hook in the wall by two corners.

  2. Knot the other end of the cloth loosely enough to pass your index finger through.

  3. Place the butter in the cloth and twist it lightly to force the butter through the knot into fine rolls or curls.

  4. Garnish the butter with parsley before serving.

  5. For garnishing hams, soften the butter and use a stiff piece of paper folded like a cornet to squeeze it through the hole.
