  1. Cut the cod's roe into slices and serve with toast, butter, lemon, and cayenne pepper.

  2. Boil the sheep's brains and flavor with cream.

  3. Cut the halfpenny rolls in half and remove the crumb while hot.

  4. Place the rolls in the oven at 400°F (200°C) to crisp.

  5. Sprinkle the rolls with cayenne pepper and coarse sea salt.

  6. Cover the rolls with fried bread-crumbs and serve hot.
