Cream-ice “surprise”
Ingredients
Directions
Fill pewter fruit moulds with your desired ice cream mixture.
Wrap each mould in paper and place on a thick layer of pounded ice mixed with coarse sea salt and sulphur.
Cover the moulds with another thick layer of the same ice mixture.
Freeze for one hour.
Remove the paper, dip the moulds in cold water, and carefully open them.
Serve the fruit-ices with elegant garnishes.
