To Keep Currants
Ingredients
Directions
Ensure bottles are perfectly clean and dry.
Cut currants from the large stalks, leaving a small bit of stalk on each.
Gather currants on a dry day, preferably under the trees, allowing them to drop gently into the bottles.
Stop the bottles with cork and rosin.
Place the bottles neck down in a trench in the garden, marking where each type of fruit begins.
