Fruit Puffs

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Roll out puff pastry to ¼ inch thick and cut into squares.

  2. Place a small amount of raspberry jam or other preserved fruit on each square.

  3. Fold the pastry over the filling diagonally and dampen one edge.

  4. Press the edges together to seal.

  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Ice if desired, then bake at 400°F (200°C) until golden.
