Jelly

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pass the jelly through a jelly bag three or four times without disturbing the crust that forms on top.

  2. Add ½ cup of sherry and 1 tablespoon of brandy to the clear liquid.

  3. Pour the mixture into a damp mold and place it in a cool place.

  4. For added flavor, use different liqueurs or fruit juices instead of sherry.

  5. Add soft fruits directly into the jelly; cook hard fruits in syrup before adding.

  6. Pour a little jelly into the mold first, about ¼ inch deep, before adding fruits.
