Cucumber Mangoes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut a small hole in the sides of the cucumbers and extract the seeds.

  2. Mix the seeds with mustard seeds and minced garlic, then stuff the cucumbers with this mixture.

  3. Replace the pieces cut from the sides and bind them with a bit of string.

  4. Boil vinegar with pepper, salt, ginger, and mace, then pour it hot over the cucumbers for four consecutive days.

  5. On the last day, add scraped horseradish and flour of mustard to the vinegar, then seal the cucumbers.
