Puffs of Any Kind

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Cut dough into square pieces, about the thickness of a patty case.

  2. Place a small piece of jam in the center of each square.

  3. Fold one side over the other and press with your thumbs to seal.

  4. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

  5. Bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven until golden and glazed.
