Bacon and Potatoes with Cheese

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Grease a pie dish and line it with mashed potatoes.

  3. Layer thinly sliced bacon over the mashed potatoes.

  4. Add another layer of potatoes on top.

  5. Dredge with bread crumbs and dot with butter.

  6. Bake until brown, then turn out and serve hot.

  7. For extra flavor, pour cheese sauce over before serving.
