Jam
Ingredients
Directions
Boil the fruit and sugar together until the jam reaches the desired consistency.
Test the jam by checking for a tendency to set or jelly on the sides of the pan.
Remove the pan from the heat before testing to avoid overcooking.
Fill clean, warm jars with hot jam.
Cover the jars with a thin layer of salad oil or a sheet of vegetable parchment once the jam is cold.
