What each ingredient does

Raspberries
Provide the fruit flavour and aroma, and the juice that forms the base of the drink.
Powdered sugar
Sweetens the juice and helps draw out flavour as it sits.
Wine
Adds body and alcohol, and blends with the raspberry juice to form the finished drink.
