Why it works: Lemon and parsley match in chemistry and in kitchens. They rank in the top 1% of all ingredient pairs, and cooks put them together in 14,037 recipes. Both carry beta-phellandrene, which smells minty, terpene. The science ↓

  1. Cover the bottom of a mold with warm aspect.

  2. When cold, decorate with flowers or cut yolks and whites of eggs.

  3. Add more warm jelly carefully to avoid disturbing the decorations.

  5. When cold, dip the mold in warm water, turn it out, and serve garnished with slices of lemon.
