To Fry Mushrooms
Ingredients
Directions
Peel and wash the mushrooms, then dry them with a clean cloth.
Heat a little olive oil and butter in a frying pan.
Place the mushrooms gilled side up in the pan, sprinkle with pepper and salt.
As they release their liquid, remove it from the pan and keep it warm.
Once cooked, place the mushrooms on a dish.
In the same pan, add butter and flour, stirring over low heat until brown.
Add the reserved mushroom liquid, season with pepper and salt, and stir until it boils.
Serve the gravy in a separate dish.
