Ice Flowers
Ingredients
Directions
Make a 2% solution of clear gelatin in distilled water and filter it.
Flood the filtrate over the desired surface.
Drain slightly and place the plate outside in cold air to freeze.
Once frozen, flood the flowers with absolute alcohol to remove ice and preserve them.
To keep them permanent, varnish or flow with an alcoholic solution of clear shellac, or treat with potassium bichromate and expose to sunlight.
