For Crystallizing Grasses
Ingredients
Directions
Dissolve the rock alum in 3 pints of boiling water and let it cool completely.
In a wide-mouthed vessel, hang a few grasses at a time in the solution.
Ensure the grasses are not too heavy, or the stems will not support them.
If desired, reheat the alum solution to add more grasses.
Add a little food coloring for variety, if desired.
