Ingredients

Directions

  1. Clean the cod fish carefully, removing blood from the backbone.

  2. If cooking with scales, dip the fish in water and rub with a coarse towel to remove shine.

  3. Soak all salt fish in water before cooking.

  4. To keep fish fresh, add a small amount of sugar and a little salt.

  5. For fresh water fish, soak in strong saltwater to remove muddy smell and taste, then dry and prepare.
