Camp Soups

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Thicken the tin of thick soup with cornflour or arrowroot.

  2. Add marsala to the thickened soup and serve.

  3. For stock, use fresh mutton scraps, bacon skin, and minced bacon.

  4. Enhance the stock with giblets or game remnants if available.

  5. If using, add onions, vegetables, and pearl barley to the stock.

  6. For a richer flavor, mix in a tin of soup or dried Jidiemne cooked in milk and water.
