Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Raw chicken
Provides the main protein, which sets into a firm, smooth body when gently cooked.
Cream
Adds moisture and richness, giving the finished mixture a softer, smoother texture.

The step that matters

Cook very gently in a water bath. Surrounding the jar with boiling water and keeping the heat low lets the chicken cook evenly. High heat would toughen the proteins and make the texture grainy and dry.

“What each ingredient does” and “The step that matters” were written by Claude from this recipe’s own method and reviewed in samples by CompKitchen.
