Ingredients

• cold water
• sugar
• iced water
• delicate dried toast
• ladies' fingers

Directions

1. Break the chocolate into small pieces and place it in a mortar.

2. Add cold water and set it over low heat.

3. Stir gently until the mixture is smooth like custard.

4. Pour into deep cups and serve with sugar and iced water.

5. Accompany with delicate dried toast cut into narrow strips or ladies' fingers.
