Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Pound the anchovies with a small bit of butter.

  2. Rub the mixture through a sieve.

  3. Mix with the shrimps and sauce, then heat it.

  4. Squeeze in some lemon juice.

  5. Fill the puff pastry with the mixture.

  6. Roll out the puff pastry evenly and cut into desired shapes.

  7. Egg wash the top without touching the edges.

  8. Mark the area to cut out for the filling.

  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until thoroughly done.

  10. If it browns too quickly, cover with paper.
