What each ingredient does

Sweet milk
Forms the liquid base of the soup and softens the flakes when poured over them.
Blanched raw peanuts
Add body and a nutty richness to the soup once ground and steeped in the milk.
Garlic
Adds sharp aroma and pungency that infuses into the milk while it stands.
