Potato Pie

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Place the mutton chops or slices at the bottom of a pie dish.

  3. Add a little gravy or thickening on top of the meat.

  4. Layer the sliced potatoes over the meat, sprinkling with coarse sea salt.

  5. Bake in the oven until the potatoes are cooked through.
