Vinegar From Honey
Ingredients
Directions
Dissolve the honey in the water.
Expose the mixture to direct sunlight, covering the cask with coarse linen to keep insects out.
After about six weeks, the mixture will turn into a strong vinegar.
Recipe from a historical cookbook (Internet Archive).
