Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the steak into pieces larger than for a pie.

  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, nutmeg, marjoram, thyme, and lemon rind.

  3. Place the steak in a stewpan, add giblets on top, and small meatballs.

  4. Chop the pickled walnut and add it to the stewpan.

  5. Prepare the neck skin by filling it with forced meat and hard-boiled eggs, then tie it off.

  6. Add the filled neck to the stewpan and simmer until done.

  7. Remove the neck, slice it evenly, and mix flour and lemon juice in a bowl.

  8. Stir the flour mixture into the stew before serving.
