Tomatoes
Make up the body of the dish, softening as they bake into a juicy base.
Biscuit crumbs
Absorb tomato juices and form a lightly browned, crisp topping.
Butter
Adds fat that melts over the tomatoes, enriching flavor and encouraging browning.
