Clear Jelly with Strawberries

Ingredients

• clear calf’s foot jelly
• fresh scarlet strawberries

Directions

1. Chill a mold in a pail of ice.

2. Melt some calf’s foot jelly and pour a little into the mold.

3. Add a layer of fresh strawberries, arranging them fancifully.

4. Allow the jelly to set, then pour in more jelly and add more strawberries.

5. Repeat layering until the mold is filled to the brim.

6. To unmold, dip the mold in hot water.
