Boiled Puddings
Ingredients
Directions
Prepare a buttered tin mold or bowl and tie a floured cloth over it, leaving space for the pudding to swell.
Wring the bag out of hot water and flour the inside well.
Pour in the well-beaten pudding mixture and tie securely, leaving room to swell.
Place the bag in a kettle with a saucer at the bottom to prevent burning.
Cover the bag completely with boiling water and keep it boiling, turning the bag several times.
Open the bag slightly to let steam escape and serve immediately after cooking.
