Dumplings and Puddings

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix flour with a small amount of milk until smooth.

  2. Add egg yolks and mix well.

  3. Butter a pudding mold or bowl and fill it with the mixture, leaving room for it to swell.

  4. Cover tightly with a cloth that has been dipped in hot water and floured.

  5. Drop the mold into a pot of boiling water with a plate at the bottom to prevent sticking.

  6. Boil steadily, keeping the pot covered, and add water as needed.

  7. When done, dip the mold in cold water and turn it out just before serving.
