Ingredients

Directions

  1. Roll pastry into a long sheet 1/4 inch thick; cut into strips 1 inch wide and 12 to 16 inches long.

  2. Roll the strips around cylindrical molds, overlapping the edges; chill.

  3. Bake until lightly browned; brush with a mixture of beaten egg white, cream, and water, then sprinkle with fruit sugar.

  4. Return to the oven to brown.

  5. Remove from molds; when cool, fill with whipped cream.
