Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Eggs
Bind the batter and filling and give the coating a golden, set crust.
Flour
Forms the batter structure and thickens the meat filling so it holds together.
Milk
Adds moisture and softness to the pancake batter.
Cooked meat or chicken
Provides the main filling and its savory flavor.
Ketchup
Adds sweetness and acidity to the meat filling.

The step that matters

Let the meat mixture cool slightly before spreading. A very hot filling softens the thin pancake and can tear it while rolling. Cooling slightly lets the filling thicken enough to stay inside the roll during slicing and frying.
