Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Rich sweet cream
Whipped into a foam whose fat and air bubbles form the body of the cream.
Powdered sugar
Sweetens the cream and dissolves easily into it, adding sweetness without grittiness.
Vanilla
Adds aroma that rounds out the sweet cream flavor.

The step that matters

Keep the cream cold while whipping. Cold cream holds air bubbles better because its fat stays firm, so it whips to a stable froth. If the cream warms, the fat softens and the foam can turn loose or greasy.
