  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the baking soda with the other dry ingredients.

  3. Add raisins and spices according to your preference.

  4. Mix well and pour into a prepared cake pan.

  5. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
