Lime-water

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In an earthen pot, add 1 lb of unslaked lime and pour a little water on it.

  2. As the lime slakes, gradually add more water while stirring with a stick.

  3. After 3-4 hours, when the slaked lime has settled, pour off the clear liquid.

  4. Store the clear liquid in stoppered bottles away from light.

  5. For use, take a wineglassful two or three times a day.
