Yeast Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take the dough for dumplings and tie it in a cloth, leaving room for it to swell.

  2. Boil until done, about the same time as a suet pudding.

  3. Alternatively, cook in a deep steamer.

  4. For a variation, roll a small piece of dough, place a lump of butter and some brown sugar in the center, and close the dough around it to form a ball.

  5. Wrap this ball in a larger piece of dough to form the pudding.

  6. Serve by dividing with two forks.
