Preserve Puffs

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Roll out the puff pastry very thin.

  2. Cut into round pieces and place jam on each piece.

  3. Fold the pastry over the jam, wet the edges with the egg white, and seal them.

  4. Place on a baking sheet and ice them.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
