Malt Poultice

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix ground malt with 1/2 pint of yeast to create a poultice of moderate consistency.

  2. Apply this poultice to foul ulcers and gangrenous wounds to help eliminate unpleasant odors.

  3. For a similar poultice, stir oatmeal into an infusion of malt until it reaches the desired thickness, then add 2 teaspoons of yeast.
