Veal Pie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the veal into small pieces and place in a stewpan. Cover with hot water and add salt.

  2. Bring to a boil, skimming off any scum that rises. Cook until the meat is tender.

  3. Remove the meat and let it cool. Take out all small bones.

  4. Butter a pie dish and line it with pie crust.

  5. Fill the crust halfway with the parboiled meat and dot with butter pieces the size of a hickory nut.
