Jam and Feuit Jelly
Ingredients
Directions
Gather ripe fruit in dry weather, ensuring it is not overripe or crushed.
In a bright brass, aluminum, or enamel pan, boil the fruit with sugar until it breaks down.
To keep the fruit whole, first make a syrup by boiling sugar with water, then pour it over the fruit and let it cool.
Repeat pouring the syrup over the fruit several times, boiling each time.
Finally, boil the entire mixture to complete the jam.
