Baked Mushrooms

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the cleaned mushrooms on thin slices of well-buttered toast.

  3. Add a small amount of batter and a pinch of pepper and coarse sea salt to each mushroom.

  4. Arrange the mushrooms on a baking tray and cover them.

  5. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
