Pepper Mangoes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the bell peppers by removing the seeds if desired after scalding.

  2. Fill each pepper with chopped cabbage, mustard seed, horseradish, celery seed, and a little allspice.

  3. Tie the peppers with wide strips of maslin.

  4. Drop the filled peppers into cold vinegar.

  5. Place cross sticks over the top of the pickles to keep them submerged in the vinegar.

  6. Store the pickles in the vinegar to keep them well.
